The World Osteoporosis Day 2026 campaign will involve a large number of participating centres across Italy and will include:
- Open Hospitals, offering free medical consultations and osteoporosis risk assessment;
- Toll-free helpline, giving patients the opportunity to speak with healthcare professionals;
- Distribution of educational brochures and information materials on osteoporosis prevention, risk factors, and bone health.
The initiative will be promoted and carried out in many hospitals and healthcare centres throughout Italy, with the aim of raising awareness and encouraging prevention and early identification of osteoporosis.
