World Osteoporosis Day 2026 – Bone Health Awareness As part of World Osteoporosis Day 2026, a bone health awareness initiative was conducted at the DXA Unit, Radiology & Molecular Imaging Department, University Medical City – Sultan Qaboos University Hospital, Oman. The initiative focused on raising awareness about osteoporosis, bone health, and fracture prevention through patient-friendly educational materials and visual displays. The aim was to encourage patients and visitors to understand osteoporosis risk factors, the importance of prevention, and the role of bone mineral density (DXA) assessment in appropriate patients.
