Public Awareness Conference on Osteoporosis In observance of World Osteoporosis Day, a public awareness conference is held to increase the general public’s knowledge of osteoporosis, its risk factors, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment. Last year, the conference was held on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 (29 Mehr 1404) at the Tehran University of Medical Sciences Headquarters, Boulevard Keshavarz, Tehran, in collaboration with the Endocrinology and Metabolism Research Institute and the Ministry of Health and Medical Education. During the event, bone health specialists provided practical information on risk factors, diagnosis and treatment, nutrition and prevention, and fall and fracture prevention, with the aim of promoting bone health and increasing public awareness. This year, the conference will be held on October 20, 2026, at Dr. Gharazi Hall, Milad Hospital, Tehran.
